Client’s Experience – Jill S.

My life shifted from a 9-5 job in the real estate industry to pursuing a career in travel photography. Along the way, I’ve had 3 published photos by National Geographic.com and experienced an 8-month trip around the world. How did this Journey begin? With one conversation with Jesse Gros, my great friend and personal coach.

When I met Jesse I had never really pushed myself and I didn’t know the potential of what I could be or what I could experience. What started as Jesse’s simple challenge for me to sign up for a 3-day back pack trip – turned into an unexpected trip around the world.

Traveling for 8 months was not a light decision and required a lot of planning. Jesse helped me every step of the way. He kept me motivated when I was scared, and supported me via phone calls during my journey.

This was more than just a trip – my travels changed me. Nepal and India expanded my comfort zone both physically and mentally. I trekked the Himalayas and volunteered in an orphanage. At Jesse’s recommendations, I visited places very different from my own daily reality in the U.S., which gave me a completely new perspective on my own life…

Years later, I called Jesse again for support in making a career change.

Photography had been a hobby of mine since high school, but I never really thought I could turn it into a career. He encouraged and helped me to take my first steps, and before long my work was being featured in shows and selling. I’m now doing photography full time and loving it!

It has always given me great comfort to know that I have Jesse to support and guide me. His skill as a coach, creativity, and sense of adventure have helped me realize some major life goals.

Thanks Jesse, you have been a true inspiration.
